Choose your destination

These are the European countries currently listed on our quote request form. Europe is a group of destinations: your quote needs the individual country and delivery address.

What to have ready

  1. Your UK collection postcode and the destination country, town and postal code, where available.
  2. The number of suitcases or boxes, with each item's weight in kilograms and length, width and height in centimetres.
  3. A list of the contents, and whether you are visiting, studying or moving your home. The reason for shipping helps identify which customs process applies.
  4. Any collection or delivery access details, such as stairs, parking restrictions or a university reception.

Check the rules for your destination

A holiday suitcase, student shipment and permanent house move can need different paperwork. Being used personal belongings does not automatically make every shipment free of import charges.

Moving your home to an EU country

Ireland, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands and Sweden are EU destinations on our list. Check the receiving country's process before dispatch. For example, Ireland's transfer of residence process asks for evidence of your residence abroad, your move and ownership and use of the goods.

Moving your home to Norway

Norway has its own household goods import process. Norwegian Customs lists a household goods declaration, RD-0030, and conditions for relief when moving there. Check these against your circumstances before sending your belongings.
