From request to handover
How your shipment request works
We currently start shipments in the UK. Choose what you need to send or move, give us the route and item details, and check the arrangements before booking.
1. Use the form that fits your items
| What you need | What to prepare | Your form |
|---|---|---|
| Suitcases, boxes or student belongings | UK pickup postcode, destination and each packed item's weight and outside dimensions. | Luggage quote |
| Furniture, house, man and van or commercial move | Inventory or rooms involved, both ends of the route, dates, access and any packing help needed. | Move request |
| Storage | Items, preferred start, estimated duration and whether you need collection. | Storage request |
Not ready to measure or book? Build a preparation checklist. You can plan without providing personal contact details.
2. Give the details needed for a checked quote
Keep pickup details together and delivery details together. UK postcode suggestions can help fill the town or area; check the suggestion and edit it if needed. Overseas towns and postal codes are entered manually. A suggestion is not a full address check.
Tell us your name, email and telephone number when submitting a request. The telephone number is required so you can be contacted about collection or delivery. For a booking, both the sender and receiver need a working number.
3. Check the response before arranging collection
Where a price is configured, the luggage form can show the available options. Other requests go to the team for an emailed quote after availability is checked. Larger moves and storage are assessed separately. UK collection and delivery cover mainland England, Scotland and Wales, subject to postcode availability; Northern Ireland and offshore islands are excluded.
A submitted request is not a confirmed collection. Keep the receipt reference. Check the agreed service, addresses, dates, charges and applicable terms with the team. Payment is arranged separately; the website does not currently take an online card payment.
If your acknowledgement is missing, check your spam folder and contact us before sending repeated requests. Include the reference if one was shown.
4. Pack, measure and record the contents
Measure after packing, including wheels, handles and any bulges. Use a separate record for each box or suitcase. Take condition photos and keep the measurements so changes can be discussed using the same information.
Packing a box, packing a suitcase and measuring and weighing explain the preparation. Check restricted contents before sealing the packaging.
For overseas shipments, prepare an itemised contents list and check the destination requirements. Household relocation, study and commercial goods can need different paperwork. Do not assume that used belongings are free from import charges. See the destination notes and packing list guide.
5. Confirm the pickup handover
Confirm the collection date, handover point and any label or document instructions for your service. Tell us about stairs, lifts, parking restrictions and heavy items before collection is arranged. Packing, dismantling and lifting furniture must be agreed as part of a move; they should not be assumed from a luggage request.
Someone needs to be available under the agreed arrangements. If a reception will handle the items, ask it first and provide clear contact details. Do not assume a driver will call ahead or that a specific time is guaranteed.
6. Prepare the destination handover
Check the receiver's full address and telephone number. For university halls, hotels and offices, confirm that reception accepts the delivery and how it should be labelled. Share access restrictions and ask what happens if the receiver is unavailable.
If an address or date changes, contact the team with your reference. An estimate can change because of access, paperwork or customs checks; keep the team informed rather than assuming the original arrangements still apply.
7. Keep your records until delivery is checked
Retain the inventory, condition photos, quote and correspondence. Check the items when received and report a concern promptly with the reference, photos and a clear description. Read the applicable terms for reporting requirements and liability. Our records guide explains what evidence helps.
For storage, confirm the start, duration, access arrangements and eventual return or onward delivery with the team. Those details need their own agreement.
